I have just rang the local orange store near where I live, asking them about the new iPhone and availability. She says they are due to come in Friday but they had planned to start taking pre-orders. I asked if they thought they would sell out pretty fast and she didn't know.

She's going to call me with more details soon and I have put my name down to pre-order!
